This Center explains the rules for uasurgeons.org and related UCS digital services. Read the Terms together with the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific notice shown before you submit data. Mandatory Ukrainian law prevails over these documents.

What UCS is

Ukrainian College of Surgeons (UCS) is a non-profit professional organization registered in Ukraine (EDRPOU 45479675; Kyiv; founded 19 March 2024). UCS is not a hospital, emergency service, telemedicine provider, court, insurer, employment agency or state regulator.

Important distinctions

A UCS petition is a civic/professional signature campaign unless the page expressly states that it is operated as an electronic petition under Article 23-1 of the Law of Ukraine “On Citizens’ Appeals”. A UCS certificate is not automatically a BPR/CPD certificate: BPR status must be expressly stated for the event and certificate and must satisfy applicable rules.

User responsibility

Users must provide accurate information, protect accounts and verification methods, respect patient confidentiality, intellectual property, professional ethics and applicable law. Healthcare professionals remain personally responsible for clinical decisions, informed consent, documentation and patient safety.
