Data Retention Policy

UCS retains data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, compatible organizational purposes, or where required or permitted by law. Retention may be extended for security, audit, legal claims, compliance, patient safety, evidence, membership governance, financial records, or protection of UCS rights. Account and membership data may be kept while active and afterward for governance, audit, disputes, and defense. Educational participation records may document attendance, certificates, access rights, and program quality. Communications may be kept to answer requests and protect rights. Uploaded content may be kept while published or needed for education, archive, compliance, or evidence. Security logs may be kept to investigate abuse and protect systems. Cookie and analytics data follows cookie duration, aggregation, anonymization, and technical settings. When data is no longer needed, UCS may delete, anonymize, aggregate, archive, or restrict it. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove data from backups, audit logs, legal holds, or evidence archives.
