Content and Upload Policy

Uploaders must have the right and authority to submit lectures, slides, videos, images, documents, comments, cases, subtitles or transcripts. Content must be lawful, not knowingly misleading, free of malware, appropriately sourced and compatible with confidentiality and professional ethics. Remove hidden metadata/identifiers where necessary. Do not upload copyrighted third-party material without a lawful license/exception. Clinical material is subject to the Patient Privacy Policy. UCS may format, blur/anonymize, restrict, remove, archive, preserve for evidence or reject content. Ownership remains with the rightsholder subject to the limited license in the Terms.

Private membership verification documents

A diploma, diploma supplement, certificate, license, professional credential, employment confirmation or other file uploaded solely to support a membership application is a private verification document, not publication content.

The general content license in this Policy does not authorize UCS to publish, advertise, publicly display, translate for publication, promote or commercially exploit a private membership verification document. UCS may only copy, store, convert format, generate thumbnails/previews, scan for malware, extract limited metadata where needed, internally display and otherwise technically process such a file as reasonably necessary for membership verification, administration, security, audit, legal compliance and dispute handling.

The applicant remains responsible for having the right to submit the document and for avoiding unrelated third-party or sensitive data. UCS may reject or ask for a replacement file if it contains unnecessary sensitive information, appears materially altered, is unreadable, contains malware or cannot reasonably be verified.
