Consent Policy
Last updated: 18 May 2026
Consent may be given by ticking a box, clicking accept, activating an invite, choosing cookie settings, submitting a form, signing a document, emailing confirmation, uploading content with required declarations, or another clear affirmative action allowed by law. UCS may request consent for optional analytics, newsletters, certain data processing, publication or educational use of identifiable or potentially identifiable clinical materials, name/image use, and specific programs. Consent should be voluntary, informed, specific, documented where necessary, and connected to a clear purpose. UCS may refuse vague, outdated, incomplete, or unverifiable consent, especially for patient, minor, vulnerable-person, image, video, or sensitive data. Consent may be withdrawn through settings or by contacting UCS. Withdrawal does not affect prior processing and does not prevent processing under another lawful basis. UCS may keep consent records to prove compliance, protect rights, and manage disputes. For clinical materials, consent alone may be insufficient; medical secrecy, ethics, institutional rules, copyright, research rules, and UCS policies also apply.
