Microsurgery and Perforator Flap Masterclass to Bring Leading Experts Together in Kyiv

Microsurgery is a discipline that cannot be mastered through textbooks and lectures alone. While theoretical knowledge provides the foundation for understanding anatomy, reconstructive planning, and the principles of perforator flap surgery, true expertise develops through hands-on practice and direct interaction with experienced mentors.

The upcoming Microsurgery and Perforator Flap Masterclass, scheduled for 26–27 June in Kyiv, is designed around this principle. It will be held in cooperation with NGO Ukrainian Reconstructive Microsurgery.The program combines focused educational sessions with intensive practical training, allowing participants to refine their surgical skills through tissue dissection, anatomical exploration, and supervised microsurgical techniques.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from a distinguished faculty of reconstructive and plastic surgeon from Japan - Rio Karakawa, Ukrainian plastic and reconstructive surgeons and Ukrainian residence.

Each faculty member brings extensive clinical experience and actively applies microsurgical technologies in daily practice. Their expertise will provide participants with valuable insights into modern reconstructive approaches, operative planning, and the practical challenges encountered in complex surgical cases.

Over two intensive days, attendees will engage in practical exercises, professional discussions, and knowledge exchange with colleagues committed to advancing microsurgical and reconstructive surgery.
